1. 因應十二年國教明年上路,教育部修正發布《重大災害地區學生升學優待辦法》,未來考生如果就學時發生重大天災、傳染疾病及戰亂,都能以外加名額升學。另外,教育部修正發布《退伍軍人報考高級中等以上學校優待辦法》,退伍軍人未來參加高中職或五專,免試入學及特色招生,也採外加名額方式。

To respond to 12-year Basic Education, the Ministry of Education announces a preferential measure of attending higher schools for students from disaster areas. In the future, the test takers who confront with huge disaster, infectious disease and war can get preferential treatment of entering a higher school by additional enrollment. Furthermore, MOE releases an amendment of a preferential measure for retired soldier who apply for the enrollment of schools above senior high school. They can be benefited by the measure when join the exams of entering senior high school, vocational school, 5-year junior college, test-free entrance exam and special enrollment.

2. 十二年國教明年上路後,國三學生將參加國中教育會考,由於成績只分為「精熟、基礎、待加強」,考試違規無法直接扣分;教育部委託臺師大心測中心研議,考試違規計畫朝「記點制」,將視情節輕重,適當反應在超額比序的分數上,具體內容最快年底前定案。

After 12-year Basic education is put into practice, the students studying in the 3rd grade of junior high schools will participate in a general examination for junior high school education. The score of the exam will be divided into three levels including proficient, basic and under basic. The violation will not lead to deduction directly. MOE authorizes Research Center for Psychological and Educational Testing, National Taiwan Normal University to work on the mark-deduction. The concrete contents may be early revealed before the end of this year.

3. 暑假邁入尾聲,趕在開學前,教育部在朝陽科技大學舉辦「102年全國大專校院護理人員工作研習會」,除了宣導防範流感、肺結核、登革熱等傳染病,今年更加上認識狂犬病。指導校護學生如果被鼬獾咬傷,第一時間要趕緊用肥皂水清洗,再送醫施打免疫球蛋白和疫苗,可以大幅降低致死率。

5. 英國文化協會今天公布2012年IELTS(雅思)英語測驗平均成績,台灣考生整體表現追平韓國,但依舊落後香港。台灣和韓國雅思成績近年不斷呈現拉鋸,去年韓國微幅領先,今年再度被台灣追上。韓國在聽力、閱讀略勝一籌,台灣在寫作、口說有相對優勢。
