再加5年！微軟延長Windows Vista及Windows 7 技術支援

Windows 8 完整版圖逐漸出爐，很快又到了 Windows 世代交替的時刻。針對現存的 Windows Vista 與 Windows 7，微軟近日低調地再延長 5 年的技術支援時間，等同 Windows 7 最長可以使用到 2020 年都沒問題！

微軟在過去以來，基本上僅提供 5 年的技術支援期，囊括系統漏洞、安全更新、錯誤修正等，當然也包括在作業系統產品上的淘汰策略。這次針對 Windows Vista 和 Windows 7 延長生命週期，囊括個人與企業用戶版本，換句話說，在微軟今年正式推出 Windows 8 後，仍有一段系統轉換期。

所以原本分別在 2012 年與 2015 年到期的作業系統，在延長 5 年的時間後，Vista 將增加到 2017 年 4 月 11 日、Windows 7 為 2020 年 1 月 14 日，使用者都可以在這之前，繼續放心使用。除了上述版本，長老級的 Windows XP 仍繼續維持到 2014 年 4 月 8 日，無任何變動（筆者按：這位「老先生」其實早在 2001 年就曾經到期過了）
