Travelers around the world have been forced to cancel their trips due to the coronavirus pandemic, leaving many longing for the feeling of traveling abroad.
台北松山機場於上週舉辦「偽出國」活動，雖然僅有九十位幸運兒能參加該行程，卻吸引約有一萬人搶著報名。
Just last week, the “Pretend to Go Abroad” event hosted by Taipei Songshan Airport (台北松山機場) was incredibly popular; the event attracted 10,000 people who applied for the 90 slots available.
台灣媒體報導指出，身為台灣國際航空樞紐的桃園國際機場正在和台灣航空業者協商，研擬推出環島班機。
According to Chinese-language media, Taoyuan International Airport (TPE 桃園國際機場), Taiwan’s main gateway airport facility, is reportedly in talks with local airlines to launch around-the-island flights.
儘管環島航線的細部規劃仍未待商榷，桃園國際機場公司表示將比照國際航線流程，旅客先是要通關檢驗才能登機，全套感受出國氛圍。
Details have yet to be finalized, but the Taoyuan International Airport Corporation (桃園國際機場公司) said in a statement that passengers would go through the usual security check and immigration before boarding the plane, just like any true international flights.
桃機公司也建議航班能有一至三小時的飛行時數，好讓旅客在機上享用飛機餐。 由於飛機將升空飛離台灣領空，旅客返回機場時也能盡情購買免稅商品。
The company also suggested that flights could last 1-3 hours, allowing those on board to enjoy an inflight meal. Since the aircraft would temporarily leave Taiwan airspace, passengers would be eligible to purchase duty-free items upon arrival back at the airport.
台灣新創航空公司星宇航空發表聲明支持桃機公司的提議，希望藉此滿足國人渴望「出國」的願望。
The Taiwan-based luxury startup, Starlux Airlines, indicated in a statement that it supported such an initiative since local residents have been unable to travel abroad for an extended period.
長榮航空欲派出成功俘獲少女心的 Hello Kitty 飛機執飛，而華航則正如火如荼規畫相關行程。
EVA Air said the airline was planning to deploy its famous Hello Kitty aircraft to operate the route while China Airlines said it was still in the process of discussion and planning.
