全球最年輕領導人下台 奧地利總理陷貪腐醜聞宣布請辭

涉入貪腐醜聞的奧地利總理庫爾茨（Sebastian Kurz）9日宣布辭去總理一職，並提名由現任外交部長查倫柏（Alexander Schallenberg）接任總理。法新社報導，庫爾茨透過電視轉播聲明宣布下台，說他想「讓出職位以避免混亂」。庫爾茨2017年當上總理，當年31歲的他成為全球最年輕的民選領袖，但執政4年來風波不斷，執政聯盟已經瓦解過一次。

奧地利檢察官6日突襲與庫爾茨所屬政黨人民黨 （People's Party）有關的幾個地點後，庫爾茨便開始承受下台壓力，而這份壓力有部分來自他聯合政府少數黨夥伴綠黨（Greens）。檢察官宣布對庫爾茨和另外9人展開調查，指他們在2016到2018年的貪腐交易中，動用公款來確保媒體做有利的報導。

庫爾茨否認有不當行為，今天重申外界對他的指控「不實」。

不過，庫爾茨卸任總理只是一種形式，對政策不會有什麼實質影響。他打算留任黨魁以及國會的黨團領袖，且有可能繼續在聯合政府中發號施令。

據路透社報導，庫爾茨在致媒體的聲明中表示，他提名由外長查倫柏接任總理職位，而綠黨也立刻表明接受此一人選。
