老外看台灣／彭博記者曬竹山包子被讚爆！老外狂推南投必嚐美食景點

【看CP學英文】台灣美食再次吸引到外國朋友的注意，近期，一位在台彭博記者於南投發現了竹山包子，並喜悅的在推特上大讚新發現的美食，讓台灣網友又驚又喜。

A Bloomberg correspondent in Taiwan recently discovered a hidden gem of Nantou’s culinary traditions — the Zhushan “baozis” (or steamed buns in English) and shared his love for them on Twitter to the delight and surprise of his many followers.

何貴森於週一貼文表示自己在台灣中部遊玩時嚐了一口以黃色和紫色地瓜做成的包子，並就此愛上它們。

According to his post on Monday, Chris Horton (何貴森) tried some baozis made of orange and purple sweet potato while traveling in central Taiwan and enjoyed it immensely.

包子鮮豔的顏色馬上引來外國網友熱議，其中在台加拿大籍攝影師Josh Ellis更是在下方留言區貼上自己當下在吃的客家粉紅菜包。然而，客家菜包奇特的顏色不是來自於食材，而是特別添加食用色素以便其看起來更討喜、可口。

The vibrant colors of the baozi also caught the attention of other foreigners in Taiwan as Canadian photographer Josh Ellis added his own picture of a traditional pink Hakka vegetable bun, which is colored so as to look more yummy.

何貴森透露包子裡包有胡椒香菇和筍子，而以木薯粉製作、如麻糬Q彈得的外皮更是錦上添花。

Horton added that the baozis were filled with “peppery mushrooms and bamboo shoots” and the exterior also had a “mochi-like Q squidginess” to it as it had been mixed with cassava flour.

何貴森於文章大大的「讚」字讓網友紛紛到留言區推薦南投其他美食和旅遊景點，供他參考。

Adding an enthusiastic “great” (讚) alongside his pictures, Horton’s tweet attracted others to flock to the comment section to suggest other local delicacies that he could try and places to visit while in the neighborhood.

其中，一位賞鳥愛好者建議他前往克明宮，親眼目賭宮廟內最受歡迎的貓頭鷹。

Among other highlights, a bird-lover proposed a trip to Ke-Ming Temple (克明宮), where an owl resting in its rafters is the temple’s greatest attraction.

另一位網友更是提議何貴森去試試中部肉圓。

Another social media user recommended “ba-wan” (肉圓) as a must-try for the foreign correspondent.

好吃的包子更是勾起在海外台人的思鄉情懷，許多也表示渴望能趕快歸國品嚐台灣經典小吃美食。

The tasty looking buns also invoked many overseas Taiwanese to comment on their nostalgia and homesickness for Taiwanese cuisines.
