早些時候小島工作室確認，全新的《死亡擱淺導演版》將於 2022 年 3 月 30 日正式登陸 Steam 和 Epic Games store 平台。也就是說在 PS5 版本上線半年後，PC 版本才終於要和玩家們見面。電腦玩家這下也總算能玩到新的服裝、武器、任務等內容，以及利用 Intel Xe 超採樣技術和超寬螢幕來獲得更好的遊玩體驗囉。
