【看CP學英文】疫情大流行之際，不少民眾大多時間待在家玩遊戲，造成PS5、Xbox Series X/S等遊戲主機缺貨，現在就連速食連鎖店「肯德基」也要來分食這塊大餅。肯德基於12月23日在推特宣布推出電腦主機「KFConsole」，主打全球首創內建「炸雞保溫盒」的遊戲機，跌破眾人眼鏡。

Amid the pandemic, a lot of people spend most of their time at home playing video games, causing shortages of game consoles such as the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. With this observation in mind, fast-food chain KFC is trying to get a piece of the console market.

KFC announced with a smile the launch of a gaming PC “KFConsole” on Dec. 23, featuring the world’s first built-in “fried chicken warmer.”

這次，肯德基攜手台灣電腦硬體公司酷碼科技 (Cooler Master)，推出這款超外觀如肯德基雞桶的遊戲主機。主機內部運用Cooler Master的散熱技術，將機台運作產生的熱能導至保溫箱。

KFC has collaborated with Cooler Master, a Taiwanese hardware company, to create the bucket-shaped gaming console.

KFC’s gaming console features Cooler Master’s technology which channels the heat generated by the machine’s operation to the “Chicken Chamber.”

肯德基釋出的官方新聞稿寫道：「在每輪遊戲間，你現在可以一邊專心玩遊戲，一邊享用美味酥脆的炸雞了。」

According to the official release, “You can now focus on your gameplay and enjoy hot, crispy chicken between rounds.”

此外，KFConsole搭載的配備一點都不馬虎，主機使用Intel Nuc 9 Extreme Compute Element、Intel Core i9 9980HK處理器，以及NVIDIA GPU插槽、Intel處理器，同時內置了兩個1TB SSD硬碟。

Foreign media announced that the KFConsole will be powered by an Intel Nuc9 Extreme Compute Element. It will also be equipped with an ASUS-built hot-swappable NVIDIA GPU and Intel CPU, along with a 1TB Seagate NVME SSD.

As of press time, KFC has not yet announced the official release date of KFConsole, nor its price.
