荷蘭設計團隊操刀 台南最大親水廣場3月開放

【看英文中國郵報學英文】台南市「河樂廣場The Spring」曾被富比世評論為全球七大令人期待的公園，預計將於3月7日正式開幕。

“The Spring” — A new river park, which was praised by Forbes as one of the seven most picturesque public parks around the world, will open in Tainan on March 7.

由荷蘭建築團隊MVRDV操刀，與台灣設計公司合作，配合台南市政府計畫「府城軸帶」，將老舊的中國城拆除，改造為「河樂廣場The Spring」。

Designed by MVRDV, a Dutch architecture company, and a Taiwanese design company under Tainan’s urban renewal plan, the park is located within the city center at the former location of the Tainan Chinatown.

結合海安路藝術林蔭大道、未來即將完工的金色流域運河燈光、景觀工程，以及舊魚市場的活化利用，河樂廣場周邊將成為台南市中心新興觀光景點。

The area surrounding the park features the Hai’an Road Art Street, the Tainan Canal and its light decorations located on the riverbank, and the renovated fish market, making it a top destination for tourists.

面積約1.54公頃的河樂廣場西起環河街，東至康樂街，將成為台南最大的親水公園。園內提供親子戲水空間之外，還有建於1981年的中國城遺跡。

“The Spring” river park covers 1.54 hectares. It will become the biggest river park in Tainan city, offering a water playground for kids among some remains of the former Chinatown, which was built in 1981.
