俗話說：「吃甜甜，好過年！」農曆春節期間，家家戶戶都會準備各種零食，將攢盒裝得滿滿，以款待前來拜年的客人；到別人家拜訪，也會向主人家討個喜糖、沾沾喜氣。

「攢」與「全」這兩個字的台語發音相同，又攢盒盛裝著各式各樣的點心，因此有「十全十美」的吉祥之意。
