強風襲擊美起重船應聲翻覆 已知1死10多人失蹤

一艘鑽油平台用的起重船在路易斯安那州外海不敵颶風級強風而翻覆，美國海岸防衛隊14日表示，目前已有6人獲救，但另有1人喪生、10多人下落不明。

船身39公尺長的商用起重船Seacor Power號，13日下午4時30分左右在路易斯安那州佛瓊港（Port Fourchon）約13公里處的外海翻覆，美國海岸防衛隊（U.S. Coast Guard）已投入船艇、飛機和志願隊民用船隻在墨西哥灣搜尋失蹤的10多人。

美國海岸防衛隊的華森（Will Watson）表示救援人員已蜂擁前往出事海域，還說部分人員可能還困在翻覆的船隻之中。

「很不幸的，我們在海面發現一名罹難者。」他補充說，事故發生時的風速達約每小時130到145公里，浪高2.1至2.7公尺。

他表示，海岸防衛隊救起2人，其他船隻從海面拉起另外4人。

美國國家氣象局（National Weather Service）表示，一連串的雷雨預料將持續為路易斯安那州東南部帶來強風、冰雹洪水。暴洪警報維持在「注意」等級，15日早上才會解除。
