森林裡的圖書館！夢幻玻璃「屏東總圖」置身芬多精中閱讀

【看CP學英文】姊妹淘報導，屏東近年來不斷加強推廣在地文化，近日又添一處讓人驚艷的場所，位於屏東市、耗時兩年整修的「屏東縣立圖書館（又稱屏東總圖）」於8/28正式開幕，玻璃屋的唯美設計被綠意盎然包圍，讓人有置身在森林裡閱讀的感覺，一起來開箱這個備受矚目的圖書館！

In recent years, Pingtung, the southernmost county, has been stepping up its efforts to promote local culture, adding another stunning public library to its territory.

After a two-year renovation, the Pingtung County Library, located in the city center, reopened to the public on Aug. 28.

The glass-paneled library is surrounded by lush greenery, making you feel like you’re reading in the forest.

屏東總圖的前身是擁有30年歷史的老建築，歷經兩年的改造整修，採用新舊建物交融的方式，將整體升級又保留大部分屏東人的記憶。

The 30-year-old Pingtung County Library has been transformed into a building with a mixture of old and new elements.

The renovation upgraded the whole building while retaining most of the memories cherished by the Pingtung people.

在外觀部分，同樣座落於屏東市千禧公園旁，佔地約5公頃，更特別保留整片50年老樟樹林，讓圖書館置身在大自然中，挑高的空間加上大面積的玻璃窗，讓採光極佳，也反射了樹林的綠意盎然。

Sitting next to the Qianxi Park in Pingtung City, the library occupies about 5 hectares within a wide 50-year-old camphor forest.

The interior design features high ceilings with large glass windows, bringing more natural light into the reading rooms.

除此之外，在二、三樓還規劃了戶外閱讀區，書看累了可以在這裡遠眺大武山，館內還有許多角落及座位都能擁有一片窗景，在這裡可以讓人沐浴在芬多精中閱讀，格外舒適。

There are also outdoor reading areas on the second and third floors, where you can read outdoors while overlooking Mt. Taimu.

除了館內設計更加精緻，館藏書籍也從13萬冊增加到40萬冊，閱讀座位則由150席增加到500席，更引進全台首創的智慧還書架、24小時還書得來速，讓讀者更自由彈性地借還書。

In addition, the number of books in the collection has been increased from 130,000 to 400,000, and the number of reading seats has risen from 150 to 500.

The library has also introduced Taiwan’s first smart bookshelf and 24-hour book return system that allow readers to borrow and return books more freely and at flexible hours.
