波音交付最後一架 747 飛機，「空中女王」再見！

EVERETT, Wash., Jan. 31, 2023— Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Atlas Air Worldwide [Nasdaq: AAWW] joined thousands of people – including current and former employees as well as customers and suppliers – to celebrate the delivery of the final 747 to Atlas, bringing to a close more than a half century of production.

在誕生 50 多年後，曾讓航空業發生革命性變化的波音 747 機種現在終於正式退出了歷史舞台。早些時候波音在他們的艾弗雷特工廠向 Atlas Air Worldwide 交付了最後一架 747-8 型貨機，數千名曾經參與過 747 開發、製造的波音員工也齊聚一堂，共同向一代「空中女王」告別。早在 2020 年時波音就透露了讓 747「引退」的計畫，在過去的一年中他們總共只交付了 5 架 747 飛機。包括 Atlas 訂購的這架在內，波音交付的最後一批 747 在未來數年內都會被用來運輸貨物（彭博預估能飛到 2050 年代）。

747 是世界上最著名的四引擎寬體碰氣機之一，在初登場時其憑藉比同代其它機種多一倍的乘客容量大幅降低了單個座位的飛行成本，而這也徹底改變了航空旅行的發展進程。在最高峰的 1990 年代，波音每年要交付多達 70 架 747。不過隨著技術演進，它終究也難免被更新的飛機取代。特別是一些新的雙引擎機種，在飛行同樣的路線時，它們能更有效地使用燃料從而為航空公司節省開支。
