Captain Hay will lead her task force into complex high-end warfighting scenarios, including multiple missile firings and a war-at-sea serial.
While acknowledging the honour of being the first Australian woman to command a task force, Hay said her focus was on representing the men and women of the Royal Australian Navy and leading her force.
