工商時報【湯名潔】 用英文總結討論把英語學道地的方法之一，是熟記並活用老外經常使用的片語。以下是職場溝通經常會出現的幾個片語，請看看它們錯在哪裡。 Debug 1.We are ready to start at a short notice. 我們已準備妥當，一接到通知就出發。 2.I will be sitting and talking with the product development group tomorrow and will pass all of your feedback to them. 明天我會和產品開發小組坐下來討論，並將您回饋的所有意見傳達出去。 3.Once you provide us with the necessary documents, you will no longer be responsible for the contract. 一旦您提供所需文件給我們，您就不需要再負合約上的責任。 4.The CEO has to sign up on any expenses over NTD 30,000. 超過新台幣三萬元的支出都須執行長簽字批准。 Debugged 1.We are ready to start at short notice. at short notice是「一接到通知就…」的意思，請注意不必加冠詞a或the。 2.I will be sitting down with the product development group tomorrow and will pass all of your feedback to them. sit with有很多意思，包括「感染」、「影響」、「照顧」、「看管」等，本句要表達的是「坐下來好好討論、開會」，正確說法是sit down with。 3.Once you provide us with the necessary documents, you will no longer be liable for the contract. be liable for所負的責任多半指法律責任，譬如具有法律效力的合約；be responsible for的責任範圍則更廣泛，包括義務或道義上的責任，因此本題用be liable for才精準。 4.
