Russian Cargo Craft Restocks Space Station With Food, Fuel and Supplies

The Russian ISS Progress 68 cargo craft arrived at the International Space Station on Monday, October 16, carrying almost three tons of food, fuel and supplies for the Expedition 53 crew.

Progress began its two-day journey from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, flying over eastern China and landing at the Pirs Docking Compartment of the International Space Station. The unpiloted aircraft was carrying propellant, water, oxygen and spare parts, in addition to fresh food.
