Tahoe Bear Cubs Spotted Leaving Den With Mother

A pair of adorable bear cubs were spotted venturing out with their mama in Lake Tahoe on April 8.

Toogee Sielsch, whose tahoetoogee Instagram account is filled with footage of South Lake Tahoe’s animal population, shared the footage to Instagram, writing that it’s “that time of year”.

“First captures of Tahoe black bear cubs of the year starting to come out of their birthing den with mom on a regular basis. Those cubs are only 10 weeks old,” he said in the caption.
