Bear in Colorado With Cheese Balls Jar Stuck on Head

What would you do if you came across a bear with a jar stuck on his head? Guests at a Colorado bed and breakfast were faced with that exact dilemma. The bear had been sighted for the past week but every time animal wardens made it to the bear’s reported location it had already wandered off. Cue Jim Hawkins, the owner of the B&B. He somehow managed to lasso the bear and ended up having a tussle in the grass with him!

Jim was left with minor abrasions while the bear huffed himself up into a tree. Luckily he was still there when animal control arrived and they were able to dart and rescue him. Credit: Erin Caldwell
