武漢肺炎疫情受到全球關注，國民黨30日在官方推特一連以中、英文雙語發出聲明，呼籲應讓台灣加入世界衛生組織（WHO），讓台灣的防疫經驗與專門知識可以協助疫情獲得控制。推文中也感謝美國、日本、加拿大、德國和澳大利亞等國為台灣發聲，支持台灣加入世界衛生組織以及世界衛生大會（WHA）。
推文中強調，「台灣不應被排除在世界衛生組織之外」，並表示國民黨身為最大在野黨，強烈呼籲應讓台灣加入世界衛生組織。

推文裡也向國際發聲，指出台灣曾以「中華台北」之名獲邀以觀察員的身份參加世界衛生大會，並對全球衛生性事務做出了重大與卓越的貢獻；強調在疫情逐漸蔓延之際，儘管缺乏第一手資訊，台灣仍竭盡全力向世界各地的專家尋求相關知識。
推文也提到，正當確診病例數量不斷增加的時刻，應該排除任何政治因素，優先考量讓台灣參加世界衛生組織。因此，國民黨強烈呼籲，應該讓台灣加入世界衛生組織，讓台灣的防疫經驗與專門知識可以協助疫情獲得控制。

Taiwan should not be excluded from WHO. The KMT, the most prominent opposition political party in Taiwan, strongly calls for our inclusion in the World Health Organization.
Taipei was once invited to join the World Health Assembly as an observer, and has a significant and remarkable contribution to the global health.
Amid the epidemic, Taiwan has been pulling out all the stops to obtain relevant knowledge from experts around the world despite the lack of first-hand information.
While the number of confirmed cases escalates, our participation in the WHO should be a priority and also irrelevant to any political factors, hence the KMT hereby firmly calls for the seat that we should have, so that our experiences and expertise can brought into getting the epidemic under control.
To United States, Japan, Canada, Germany, and Australia- thank you all for speaking up for Taiwan as well as for supporting our inclusion in the WHO and the annual WHA.
