【勃恩斯受訪摘錄】籲美抗「中」 立場鮮明

Most Democrats and most Republicans agree that we got to compete, we don't want to give up our military primacy in the indo-pacific since the end of the second world war to China.

多數的民主黨與共和黨人士都同意，我們必須在國際與中共抗衡並競逐，不應輕易將自第二次世界大戰結束後，在印太地區所掌握的軍事優勢，拱手讓「中」。

The really smart play by the United States could be combine forces with the European Union and Japan, together we have about 60% of global GDP, and go together to the Chinese to say "you have to play by the rules on trade, and if you don't, there gonna be penalties to you".

對美國而言，真正聰明的做法，是與歐盟、日本合作，以占全球60%的GDP實力，向中共表示「你必須遵守遊戲規則，否則就要面臨懲罰」。（編譯王能斌譯）
