鐵道迷必追！距離海洋最近的木造車站

【看英文中國郵報學英文】近年來，臺灣許多擁有悠久歷史的火車站陸續翻新，以符合乘客需求; 然而，老火車站雖設備較為老舊，仍有它獨特的美。以下整理四個隱藏版西部特色老火車站，週末假日有空不妨來趟說走就走的鐵道旅行！

Many old railway stations have been renovated in recent years to meet passengers’ demands. Although the facade of some old railway stations might seem outdated, their unique beauty is still appealing. If you are planning a trip this weekend, you can go on a railway journey to visit four traditional railway stations sitting across western Taiwan.

談文車站 | Tanwen Railway Station

位在苗栗縣造橋鄉的談文車站是臺鐵海線車站之一，與其他海線木造車站的大山、新埔、日南、追分合稱為五寶。

Located in Miaoli County, Zaoqiao Township, Tanwen is one of the stations on the Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) west coastline. Along with other wooden stations, such as Dashan, Xinpu, Rinan and Zhuifen, they are known as the “Five Treasures.”

這座介於大山站、竹南站之間的木造老車站建於日治時期，1922年正式啟用，現被苗栗縣政府列為縣定歷史建築。

The station between Dashan and Zhunan, which was opened to the public in 1922 under Japanese rule, has been identified as a historical building by Miaoli County.

這個每日進出不到50人的小站，一邊是綠油油的稻田，穿過可愛的彩繪天橋，即抵達等待列車的月台，許多鐵道迷、攝影師會在這裡等待列車進站，捕捉火車進站畫面。

With less than 50 passengers entering and exiting the station per day, the small station offers a fantastic view on nearby green fields . After you pass through the footbridge with colorful paintings on the wall, you will arrive at the platform where photographers can capture impressive shots of a moving train.

龍港車站 | Longgang railway station

苗栗縣後龍鎮的龍港車站是西部幹線平均進出人次最少的車站之一。因車站周圍村落緊鄰後龍溪出海口，昔日為一座相當繁榮的小漁村。現今龍港車站被列為無人管理站，可以悠遊卡刷卡進站。

Sitting in Houlong, Miaoli, Longgang railway station is one of the stations with the least traffic on the western line. Due to the surrounding area situated at the Houlong river mouth, the village used to be prosperous and bustling. Nowadays, Longgang station is an unmanned station. Passengers are required to use easy cards to buy tickets.

附近的後龍好望角更是鐵道迷必訪景點，可遠眺零死角無敵海景、成排風車，大海與鐵道交會美景令人心曠神怡。

In addition to the old-fashioned station, Houlong Cape of Good Hope, a 9-minute drive from Longgang station, has spectacular views of sea and rows of windmills. If you are lucky, you can capture the astonishing scene of a train running along the coastline.

新埔車站 | Xinpu railway station

來到苗栗通霄，別忘了拜訪西部幹線距離海岸線最近的車站 – 新埔車站。身為五寶之一的新埔車站，啟用於1922年，被列為縣定歷史建築。外觀帶有濃濃日式風情木造建築，近看車站內的長木條椅、牆壁都已斑駁不堪，歷史的痕跡更添其風味。

When you travel to Tongxiao, Miaoli, don’t forget to visit the most beautiful train station by the sea — Xinpu railway station. As one of the “Five Treasures,” Xinpu opened to the public in 1922 and was designated as a historical building by the county government. The old station features Japanese-style wooden architecture. Inside the station, the mottled walls and benches reflect the history of the station.

此外這座車站還有一大亮點，從車站內往外看就能看到無敵海景。走路不用幾分鐘一望無際的湛藍大海映入眼簾，新埔車站身為最靠近海岸線的車站當之無愧。

What’s more? You can have a sea view from the station. Walking from the station, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea view within minutes.

石榴車站 | Shiliu Railway Station

百年老驛站就坐落在雲林縣斗六鎮，前身為1905年設立的「石榴班驛」，2006年石榴車站站房以及周圍職員宿舍更被登錄為歷史建築。石榴車站歷經修繕後，目前為招呼站，僅設有候車月台，無站員。

Shiliu station, located in Douliu, Yunlin, has a history of over 100 years. The hundred-year-old station built in 1905 and the nearby dormitory was listed as the historic architect by the government. After the renovation, Shiliu became an unmanned station with no staff but the platform only.

來到石榴車站除了了解其歷史，還能坐在月台欣賞遼闊的田園風情，相當愜意。

You can not only understand the history of the old station but also enjoy the view of the vast soothing wide fields.
