In the suburbs of Taiwan, many animals can often be found wandering around the streets or on the side of fields.

A social media user recently had a funny encounter with a huge black pig while driving in the countryside, and decided to share his experience on Facebook.

He explained that he was blocked by the pig while driving early in the morning, and he wondered if the pig had any grievances that needed to be vented through blocking his way.

The social media user also shared that he had previously encountered elaphe carinata snakes and white geese while driving, but this was his first time seeing a black pig on the road.

The post received over 11,000 likes, and many viewers smiled at the view of the wild animal. Some commenters even suggested eating the pig for dinner, while others said that the pig was an auspicious symbol.

Many also shared their own wild animal encounters, with one commenter sharing a picture of two ducks crossing the road, while another shared a picture of a whole flock of brown sheep blocking his path.

It seems that based on the Facebook thread alone, Taiwan is an open zoo for animal lovers, and visitors should brace themselves for encountering a variety of animals to “brighten” up their day — whether they like it or not.
