英國凱特王妃（Princess of Wales）2日與丈夫威廉王子（Prince William）在溫莎城堡會見一名16歲的患癌少女海頓（Liz Hatton），鼓勵癌友並送上愛的抱抱。
據BBC3日報導，16歲的海頓是一位嶄露頭角的攝影師，今年早些時候，她被診斷出罹患罕見癌症「促結締組織增生性小圓細胞腫瘤」（desmoplastic small round cell tumor，DSRCT），醫生告訴她，她的生命只有六個月到三年，而她有一個「攝影遺願清單」。

海頓的母親將女兒的故事和願望分享到網路上後，獲得不少網友的鼓勵支持。威廉王子夫婦透過相關慈善機構了解到海頓的故事後，決定邀請她到溫莎城堡拍攝「單車衝刺王」卡文迪許（Mark Cavendish）和前足球運動員麥考斯特（Ally McCoist）的授勳儀式，幫助她完成「攝影遺願清單」中的一個夢想。

據肯辛頓宮發言人表示，凱特王妃雖未出席授勳儀式，但在海頓拍攝結束後與威廉王子一起私下會見了海頓一家人。凱特王妃向海頓送上愛的抱抱，互相分享抗癌經驗。
海頓也向威廉王子夫婦分享了自己的攝影作品，後者在X上公開發文稱讚：「這位年輕的攝影師才華橫溢，她的創意和毅力啟發了我們」。
