【看CP學英文】在台十年的Brian來自美國，近期與 YouTubers Peter Gary 和 Ines一起拍片，試吃台灣經典傳統零食。雖然住在台灣已經好一陣子了，透徹地融入台灣文化的Brian仍舊未嘗試過所有的道地台灣零食。
American YouTuber Brian tried traditional Taiwanese snacks in a recent online video with Taiwanese YouTubers Peter Gary and Ines. Despite having lived in Taiwan for 10 years and being familiar with Taiwanese culture, there are still a few delicacies that he is not familiar with.
影片中，其他兩位YouTuber先介紹完零食再讓Brian試吃台灣巧克力足球，橡皮糖，卡哩卡哩，和其他台式鹹餅乾讓他評分。
To begin with, Brian tried Taiwanese chocolate candies, gummies as well as crunchy, savory snacks. After the two other YouTubers explained the background of the snacks, he rated each treat on a 0-5 scale.
Brian試吃的的第一個點心是巧克力球。本身就愛巧克力的他給了這個糖果3.5分（滿分五分），但因為中間實在「太乾了」讓Brian 不禁在影片中露出驚恐的表情。
For the first snack he tried, chocolate soccer balls, he rated the candy a 3.5/5. Although he generally enjoys eating chocolate, he thought that the candies were too powdery and dry for his liking.
他是的第二個糖果是台灣小朋友很愛吃的可樂和水果口味的橡皮糖。吃完後，Brian表示自己比較偏好水果口味的因為可樂糖吃起來太像咳嗽糖漿，反倒水果口味橡皮糖榮獲了滿分。
The next snacks were cola and fruit-flavored gummy soda bottles. He preferred the fruit-flavored candies over the coke, as he thought the cola flavor tasted too similar to cough syrup. Brian rated the fruit-flavored gummy sodas 5/5.
接著Brian也嚐了山楂餅，號稱愛吃酸的他吃了一口後卻表示「酸梅」對他來說太酸了，引來另外兩位的嘲笑。Brian也點出山楂餅不僅酸酸甜甜，甚至還帶有一點鹹味，讓他無法將其歸類為「糖果」。對於山楂餅，Brian的評價並不高，最後僅獲得0.5分。
Another candy that Brian tried was haw flakes. Although earlier in the video he claimed that he preferred sour candies, the plums were too sour for his taste. Furthermore, he argued that he did not entirely consider the treats as candy because they were slightly salty. For the hawk flakes, Brian gave a 0.5/5 rating.
Brian嘗試的第一個鹹零食就是台灣人最愛的海苔口味卡哩卡哩。因為咬下去會發出很大的聲音，Brian一吃就愛上，看到背後便宜的價錢更是心動，表示之後一定會在家裡囤積這個零嘴，因為實在太「涮嘴」了！
The first savory snack that Brian tried were seaweed flavored kali kali, a crunchy, savory treat known for the loud sounds they made when eaten. After snacking on the food, Brian admitted that he would continue purchasing and keeping the snack at home. The kali kali snacks earned a 5/5 rating.
試吃過鹹食的三位，後來也一起吃了巧克力膠糖果。雖然Brian非常喜歡巧克力，但連他都無法接受膠狀巧克力的奇怪口感和口味，頒給巧克力膠一顆鴨蛋。
After sampling the salty snacks, Brian tested some chocolate paste candy. Even though he usually likes chocolate delicacies, he disliked the paste as he thought the texture and flavor were strange. Brian ultimately gave the chocolate paste candy a 0/5 rating.
最後，三位一起喝冰淇淋汽水。對Brian來說，口味就像美式粉色口香糖，但當他被問起如果這個飲料和可樂相比會選哪一個，冰淇淋汽水最終還是被嫌棄了。
Last but not least, the YouTubers drank some ice cream soda. To Brian, the refreshment reminded him of bubble gum ice cream from America. When asked if he would pick the drink over cola, however, Brian admitted that he would prefer coke with a large smile.
