Yahoo奇摩新聞 蕭美琴證實 進國務院拜會美助卿

駐美國的台北文化經濟辦事處今（28）日上午在臉書貼出，新任駐美代表蕭美琴與國務院亞太助卿史達偉（David Stilwell）合照。對於到底兩人在哪裡會面，外交部上午還不願意說明。不過，蕭美琴下午則親自在臉書證實，是在國務院會見助卿史達偉。
蕭美琴今日在臉書以英文表示，「It was a pleasure to meet Assistant Secretary David Stilwell in the State Department. We had a productive discussion about a number of important bilateral and regional issues. Under our socially distant masks are smiles. As often said, “Taiwan is a force for good in the world” and a reliable partner. I look forward to working together on more progress in our relationship!」。
