Air Traffic Site Says 119,000 People Tracked Messi's Flight to Paris

The air traffic site FlightRadar24 said some 119,000 people tracked the flight carrying Lionel Messi from Barcelona to Paris on August 10, ahead of his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Argentinian star bid farewell to Barcelona after 21 years with the club, in a tearful press conference on August 8.

Barcelona said Messi’s departure was due to financial constraints, and the club’s inability to keep the player and stay within La Liga’s FFP regulations.
