Animals at Tallinn Zoo enjoy snow day

Apart from the snow blanket, the zoo's residents also curiously explored treats hidden in unused Christmas trees distributed to the zoo after the holidays.

Polar bears rolled in the snow and kicked around their food, even the zoo's camel ate snow from the ground, while an elephant tried to pick up and consume a Christmas tree.

The Tallinn Zoo has remained open for visitors over the winter months but was forced to close its indoor enclosures on Dec. 28 due to coronavirus restrictions.
