California's Fairview Fire More Than Doubles in Size

The Fairview Fire, burning near Hemet, California, was mapped at 19,377 acres late on September 7, according to the Fire Integrated Real Time Intelligence System (FIRIS).

FIRIS released infrared footage showing the fire after it had more than doubled in size during the day.
