Casualties Reported After Russia Fires Cruise Missiles at Odesa

A Russian cruise missile strike killed several people at a warehouse in central Odesa and damaged commercial buildings in the city, Ukraine’s military and the local administration said on Wednesday, June 14.

Three people working at the warehouse were confirmed dead and 13 others injured in the overnight strike, Operational Command South said on Wednesday morning. More people could be trapped under the rubble, public broadcaster Suspilne reported.

Ukraine’s air force said Russians fired four Kalibr cruise missiles at Odesa from a ship in the Black Sea, and three were intercepted by air defense systems.

The National Police service said a residential complex and school were also damaged. Everyone killed and injured in the warehouse was a civilian, the force noted.
