- Hello. Nice to meet you too.
AKIKO FUJITA: Ready? How's my forearm? Fourth time, here we go. [GASPS]
- Oh, yeah.
AKIKO FUJITA: Yay! Here are the three themes defining this year's big tech event. First off, artificial intelligence. All the companies are showing off their latest innovations.

We are at the booth for Baracoda. It's a French health tech company. And it's developed this mirror. It's an interactive mirror that uses artificial intelligence. It listens to your voice and then determines your mood.
- How's your day been so far?
AKIKO FUJITA: My day has not been great. And I haven't gotten a lot of sleep.
- We all have our moments of feeling down. It's essential to acknowledge it. Just like a rainy day makes way for sunshine, your mood can improve.
AKIKO FUJITA: The second theme, autotech. The world's largest carmakers are coming here to unveil everything from autonomous vehicles to flying cars.

We've all heard about self-driving cars. This company, Glüxkind, is building self-driving strollers. It's rocking the baby, something every mother can appreciate, every father can appreciate. So you see the light here. The green light here shows that it's on. And if I press it a little, it'll stop to make sure the baby does not run away.
And finally, theme number three, fun and unique tech you won't see anywhere else. We are in front of the PatchXR booth. [LAUGHS] You see, this guy is inside virtual reality. The company is a mixed-reality software company.
It allows users to build all the tools to create music in virtual reality. They partner with musicians. They let you create drum sets. I mean, this guy's got it going. I'm going to give it a shot. All right, here we go.
- All right, here we go.
[LAUGHTER]
Yeah.

AKIKO FUJITA: OK, now, we've got multiple layers of beats going. Oh, wow, look at this. I feel like I'm sitting in first class. This is just what I need right now. Oh, this is kind of ticklish.
We're going to be here all week. Don't miss our interviews with the top tech leaders and demos of the latest gadgets. Oh, my god, 19 more minutes. 19 minutes left. He's able to type, right, just by looking?
