Chicago Farm Creates World's Largest Corn Maze Celebrating 60 Years Of James Bond
The world's largest corn maze is celebrating the 60th anniversary of famous fictional secret service agent James Bond. Richardson Adventure Farm in Spring Grove, Illinois, Chicago, features over 10 miles (16 kilometers) of trails and sits on 28 acres (11 hectares). The intricate maze displays the images of almost all James Bond actors, including Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig as well as other details from the movie, including the gun barrel, an Aston Martin DB5 car and the Casino de Monte-Carlo. The maze was created by using high-tech corn planter tractors outfitted with GPS and special shutoffs. As the tractor travels across the field, corn seed is dropped to plant the maze's pattern, down to the tiny details of their chosen design. The James Bond corn maze is open to the public from September 10 to October 30, 2022.
