DANI ARAVICH: My name is Dani Aravich. I recently competed at the Tokyo Paralympic Games in track and field and that is where I made my games debut. I competed in Cross-Country Running and Track and Field at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. I only competed for a year and a half due to some things that I wanted to focus on with school and wanted to get focused on my career in the workforce.

I think, though, that competing at the NCAA level, especially myself being a para-athlete and competing in able-bodied sports, just continued to encourage me to not settle for anything. And that even though I may have a disability, I can still hang and compete against the best able-bodied athletes in the country and in the collegiate programs in the US. And so I think that's just something that is really encouraged me now that I have entered parasport is knowing that I still have the capability of hanging with the able-bodied athletes and I think it really pushed me to be a better athlete as a whole.
