Death Toll Rises Amid Severe Flooding in Sardinia
At least three people were killed and two others were missing after heavy rain caused severe flooding in Sardinia, Italy on November 28, local media reported.
Officials issued a red alert for the island and urged residents to take precautions as thunderstorms were expected to persist until early Sunday morning.
The severe weather was expected to move into central Italy over the weekend, according to local news reports. An orange alert was been issued for Sicily and Calabria.
