Donkeys dress up for Colombian festival
STORY: Donkeys paraded through the town streets wearing costumes as varied as traditional hats, princess costumes, and pink stockings.
People, meanwhile, put their lungs to the test by trying to see who could best imitate a donkey's bray.
The festival honors the rural farmers of the region who rely on donkeys for their daily work in the fields.
"It is a tradition. People always long to come, so I am like those who always long to come; I always want to be there because we remember our ancestors," said Nohora Lopez, a tourist.
