Drone Footage Shows Extent of Flooding in Western Germany

The death toll from days of intense rainfall in Europe rose to at least 180 on July 18, but appeared likely to rise in the coming days as teams continue rescue work.

On Sunday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel visited the village of Schuld in the hard-hit state of Rhineland-Palatinate, where at least 110 of 156 confirmed deaths in Germany were reported.
