Dust Storms Reduce Visibility on Arizona Highways

Record-breaking heat accompanied dust clouds near Phoenix, Arizona, on Sunday, August 16, causing low visibility for drivers, local media reported.

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) reported a dust storm near Picacho Peak, encouraging drivers to “pull aside, stay alive.”
