Fire Rips Through Slums in Nairobi

A fire swept through the Mukuru Kwa Njenga slums in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi on the evening of March 7. About 1,000 residents of the area lost their homes in October when another blaze burned 300 houses, The Daily Nation reported.
