Yahoo奇摩新聞 《柏德之門3》動畫首席癌症逝世享年56歲，官方發文悼念最佳夥伴與父親
《柏德之門3》製作多年為 CRPG 期待大作，推出後獲得十足的好評也跨出 CRPG 圈或得相當的大眾喜愛，遊戲銷售在 8 月就達 520 萬套，從設計自由度、複雜的戰鬥與地形、音樂、動畫缺一不可，而可惜的是一位功臣已經離我們而去，《博德之門3》動畫首席 Jim Southworth 在週一由官方公開哀悼因癌症逝世，享年 56 歲。

《柏德之門3》動畫首席 Jim Southworth 經官方公告逝世，他是團隊中出色、嚴謹且關懷每個人的重要角色，每個人都將懷念與他的工作時光；根據開發團隊 Larian 發出的新聞聲明，Jim 是因為 2022 年被診斷出的癌症逝世，曾協助開發線上 MMO《Boundless》、動畫《The Animals of Farthing Wood》，並在 2019 年加入《柏德之門3》團隊製作動畫，他的年齡已經是團隊中很多人的父親，是團隊大家庭的開心果。
《柏德之門3》也在本次遊戲大獎 The Game Awards 獲得 8 項與年度遊戲提名，雖然其中幾個獎項在入選上頗有爭議，但我想《柏德之門3》的入圍沒有任何問題。
