Julianne Hough is once again shocking fans with a super nerve-racking stunt.

On Instagram, the multi-hyphenate celebrated the start of the new year by posting a video clip of herself performing a cheer-style jump. That said, fans were a little worried about the 33-year-old dancer's safety after she appears to leap into the air while on a seemingly precarious ledge above the clouds.

"1st week of 2022 down and feeling high on life! Grateful for all that has transpired so far and ready for what’s to come!" Julianne captioned the Instagram.

While fans were utterly amazed by Julianne's graceful dance move, they also shared messages of concern. One fan commented, “OMG! You're scaring me! Get down from there! 😲.” Another said, “Yikes!!!! I hope that's not as high as it looks, I'd be freaking out!!” A different fan wrote, "This gives me so much anxiety. 😂 Be careful!!"

Though some may speculate that a green screen was involved, it turns out that Julianne's sky-high backdrop is totally real. The leaping clip is actually from a 2017 campaign Julianne did to promote the fall collection of MPG activewear. You can watch more behind-the-scenes moments from the stunning photoshoot below:

Julianne posted about her 2017 sky jump just weeks after sharing a different "death-defying" trick from her 2019 NBC Christmas special Holidays With the Houghs. In one moment from her holiday TV special, which she cohosted with her brother, Derek Hough, Julianne was rapidly spun around by her ankles and then quickly tossed up and dropped to the ground quickly. While Julianne looks back at the experience fondly, she did note that the stunt resulted in bursted blood vessels and capillaries in her head at the time.

Long story short, Julianne is a fearless performer. But even still, we all can agree that we shouldn't be trying any of this at home.
