Lightning Strikes Near Etowah as Deadly Tornado Hits Central Oklahoma

A significant tornado ripped its way through towns south of Oklahoma City on April 19, killing at least one person and sparking warnings from the National Weather Service to immediately take shelter.

Video filmed by Chad Casey, in Etowah, Oklahoma, shows lightning strikes streaking across the sky as dark rotating clouds loom.

The McClain County Sheriff’s Office confirmed at least one death in Cole, according to ABC 7.
