Little Rock Police Officer Fatally Shoots Car Thief Suspect

Police in Little Rock, Arkansas, said an officer fatally shot a suspected car thief after the man refused to get out of a car and accelerated into the officer on February 22.

Dashcam and security camera footage released by the Little Rock Police Department detail the use of traffic cameras to track the suspect and corner him in a parking lot.

Footage shows a second officer arriving at the scene and the suspect accelerating, driving into the first officer, who starts shooting. The second officer rams his vehicle into the suspect’s car.
