- OK, we should go inside. [LAUGHS]

- All good. I was right in it.

- Really?

- Yeah.

[RAIN PATTERING]

STEVE PRATOR: With the total destruction, it was awesome, if there's not a better word for it. It's the power of a tornado like that. And I've seen several tornadoes. This was the worst tornado that I've worked.

JOHN BEL EDWARDS: The residents are very resilient. You're gonna see an awful lot of assistance come from locals through charity-- charitable organizations and so forth. But so the aid is already flowing. It just-- it'll just, in this situation, it will almost certainly come from the state, and from locals, and from charity organizations, like our faith-based community.

PATSY ANDREWS: I hope this bring us together because one thing about it, we need to come together. And we need-- as we-- I like how we came together, how our mass came-- how the people came out of nowhere. Because we always came for other people for Hurricane Laura in New Orleans and Mississippi.

But now, look, we have to step up for our own town. And I think that's a blessing because it show people-- it show you that people love you. It show you that people care because we have to heart of love. And this just an example to show you that people do care. Woo.
