Kamal Boukentar spends his days stitching
together leather soccer and rugby balls
in a style that his parents handed down to him

"The idea arrived to Morocco, probably in the 1950s. At the time, there were Moroccans who made balls but this was a very long time ago, there are no more left, and my family has specialized in the making of these balls since the 1960s."
