A meteor was captured on camera as it shot through the morning sky over Snowbasin Resort, north of Salt Lake City, on Saturday morning, August 13, as a loud boom sound caused by a meteor was reported across northern Utah.
Michael Rueckert, the Director of Marketing at Snowbasin Resort, said he searched through footage from the resort’s various cameras for almost two hours before finding a clip of the meteor as it passed over the area at around 8:30 am local time. Credit: Snowbasin Resort via Storyful
