Off Their Game Week 16 - Mike Davis

The Panthers RB accounted for 61 total yards last week - and Liz Loza explains why we shouldn't expect much vs. Washington.

LIZ LOZA: I mean, Tank, I think you and I are vibing. No surprise. I'm also picking a Carolina Panther, and it's Mike Davis, who, yes, is getting another start with CMC sideline. And even though he's managed double digit carries consistently, we've seen those touches wane a little bit.

Curtis Samuel, stealing some touches. You've got Rodney Smith logging more snaps. He's coming off of an ultra disappointing outing last week against Green Bay, and you mentioned the Washington football team defense. I mean, that is the nucleus of this Washington Football Team. Period.

They're allowing the fourth fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs, so you think, oh, OK, well, Mike Davis can get it done through the air. Oh, not so quick, because the Washington football team's defense is also allowing under four catches per game to opposing running backs. I have downgraded Mike Davis to that RB 19 to 21 range.
