At least three people were killed and 12 others injured following a shooting incident at the Gilroy Garlic Festival in California on July 28, local media reported, citing a local official.

Gilroy City Councilman Dion Bracco told media that these were “preliminary figures.” Police did not immediately provide information about the number of casualties or injuries.
