Snow-Clearing Operations Underway in Newark
A nor’easter dumped more than five inches of snow on Newark, New Jersey, by Monday, February 1, according to National Weather Service (NWS) snow reports.
The NWS said 5.2 inches of snow was recorded at Newark Liberty International Airport shortly before 7 am on Monday. Snowfall was forecast to continue throughout Monday, with Newark projected to receive up to 24 inches of snow by the storm’s end.
