Snow Covers Central Oregon Amid 'Dangerously' Cold Temperatures
Snow covered Redmond, Oregon, on the morning of Wednesday, December 29, with the National Weather Service (NWS) warning of “dangerously” cold temperatures in the area during the work week.
“Daytime highs will struggle to rise into the 20s and low 30s with lows in the single digits and low teens,” the NWS said, with single-digit wind chills “common” and “some areas seeing wind chills below zero.”
This video filmed by Miles Wilhelm shows snow falling in Redmond on Wednesday morning. Wilhelm said it was 17 degrees Fahrenheit at the time he recorded the footage.
