Snow Reported in Washington as Temperatures Dip in Pacific Northwest

Residents of Western Washington woke up to snow on Sunday, December 26, as forecasters warned that a winter storm could disrupt travel in the Pacific Northwest over Christmas weekend.

The National Weather Service in Seattle said snow would continue to fall on Sunday before tapering off in the afternoon and evening. They warned of dangerous wind chill in parts of the state, particularly in Whatcom and San Juan Counties.
