Snowstorm Blankets Kansas City Chiefs' Stadium Ahead of Game

A snowstorm didn’t stop Kansas City Chief’s fans flocking to the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, for the team’s AFC Divisional round game against the Indianapolis Colts on January 12.

According to NFL Network’s James Palmer, stadium staff were working from early morning to clear snow from the stands.

The National Weather Service in Kansas City said 7.2 inches of snow had fallen at their office by 6am. “Many areas across eastern Kansas and western Missouri saw their highest snow totals in several years last night,” the service said. Credit: Nick Wobbe via Storyful
