Speedboat Creates Waves to Douse British Columbia Wildfire
A boater used the power of his speedboat to create plumes of water in face of a wildfire in Kamloops, British Columbia, on Saturday, July 29.
Lorrie Jane Arnott captured the incident along the Thompson River on camera. Arnott, who was on her own boat, said the boater made around eight attempts to douse the flames and his good deed attracted a round of applause from other people on the scene.
